Highlights from Day 4 at the CRPD Review

We had a very full day today. We had several meetings with members of the CRPD committee. We discussed key issues from our factsheets. Members were very interested in all our points.

We also met with the Australian desk officer for the High Commission for Human Rights, Kio Hasegawa. We briefed him on all our key points. The High Commissioner will be visiting Australia in October.

This afternoon the Australian government engaged in dialogue with the Committee on the CRPD. We livetweeted the session.

This evening we attended the official closing of the art exhibition ‘Culture is Inclusion’ hosted by FPDN. There were several artists present for the exhibition.
